Replica

Re-creating architectural details and hardware

Multiple Projects

We occasionally work with historical details that need to be replicated. Perhaps the originals were damaged and need replacing, or a partner is missing in a composition and we need a duplicate. Other times we want to represent some existing character in a project when crafting realistic renderings.

We work with a combination of our technical skills and partners who utilize the best technology in 3D scanning to recreate these details, from hardware to architectural ornament. We can then use these for visualization, and even fully re-create the parts either in their aged state or as if they were brand new. We test using various means of 3D printing to make sure your expectations are set. From there we find the best artisans and manufacturers to bring them back to life, whether it’s metal casting, wood carving, or stone 3D printing.

Re-created antique hardware

All these images are renderings of 3D models carefully crafted by our team and ready for manufacturing back to their original bronze state.

3D Scanned Ornament

When we scan objects they can often be re-created in many different materials depending on the client’s needs or budget.

In this project, the pieces were carved in alternative materials and faux painted by the best artists to resemble their original stained oak appearance.

Let’s preserve the details that matter, together.
